J. A. Pell & Son carried out this external property renovation project at ‘The Old Post Office’ in Harlow, Essex.
We installed extensive scaffolding on the site, creating a safe working environment for both our team and clients.
There after we removed all existing gutters and downpipes to prepare for the upcoming work. Replacing any rotten or damaged timbers as needed, focusing extensive timber repairs and renovation works on the severely rotten rear gable.
In this case the client required a durable matt finish, so we chose BDEC Barn Paint to get the job done. This acrylic system is a tough, durable microporous protective coating with excellent colour retention. It will flex with the substrate and exhibits reduced flaking and blistering. All timbers were repaired where needed, prepared, primed and then finished in a BDEC Barn Paint Matt Finish.
We installed all new gloss black Freeflow gutters and downpipes. Freeflow is an innovative, high-quality PVC-U gutter system built to last. It’s a great product, and it’s the only system we choose to supply and fit on our projects.
Finishing up with a solvent clean of all the guttering, downpipes and windows. Leaving the client’s property spotless and adding a the finishing touches ready for hand over.
