J. A. Pell & Son recently found themselves in Noak Hill Romford for a external property repairs & refurbishment project. This project was for a repeat and long standing client of ours. This time around our team carried out the full renovation and refurbishment of the property’s front elevation due to damages.
Up top we removed all the guttering, downpipe and existing fascia. We moved up the first course of roof tiles, which exposed rotten felt in the eaves that was causing water ingress. Our team then installed a felt support tray system, there after reinstated the existing roof tiles and timber fascia. All new high quality Freefoam soffit and fascia was installed, finishing up with Freeflow Guttering and downpipe.
The bottom half involved stripping off part of the roof and adding extra fixings to the existing structural wall plate. We also reinforced other structural roof timbers that had been damaged by years of water ingress. Our team then treated with SikaGard Universal 5 Star Wood Treatment. Again we installed a felt support tray system.
Damaged timbers caused a slight deflection on the roof line, which we managed to correct aesthetically with a new scribed fascia. All new Freefoam soffit and fascia was installed, finishing up with Freeflow standard size guttering and downpipe just like the top.
Potentially saving the roof from collapse if issues persisted to damage the structure, one happy client!
We also made various small repairs along the way. Finishing up with solvent cleaning all the windows and door etc making them look brand new once again.
