J. A. Pell & Soon recently carried out this small exterior property redecoration project in Suffolk Essex.
The rear of the property takes most of the weather in this location, so this elevation was the priority before we can make it back at some point to complete the rest of the exterior property redecoration. All masonry, woodwork, dormers, windows and doors were prepared and made good where needed.
Any rotten or damaged areas were first hardened and stabilized using a solvent-based wood hardening solution. Once fully cured, these areas were then filled with a two-part repair filler. The filler was moulded, cut, and sanded into shape as needed to ensure a smooth, high-quality finish. This process ensures a durable and long-lasting repair using superior materials. All areas were washed off to provide a clean and suitable base for paint application.
All areas were redecorated to the client’s specification using their preferred Sikkens paint system for the woodwork and a Dulux Trade paint system for the masonry.
