J. A. Pell & Son recently installed this Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) System in Essex as part of a Property Maintenance contract. The client was complaining of excessive condensation leading to mould growth inside the property.
This Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) System inputs fresh and filtered air into the property, reducing condensation and preventing mould growth and all the health issues which could potentially be associated with it. These PIV units provide condensation & humidity control, mould prevention & control, filtered fresh air providing natural ventilation while removing pollen, dust and other pollutants, improved air quality and general living environment.
A suitable place was identified in the loft space to install the unit, to enable the output vent to be located within the ceiling of top landing of the property. This unit is a non invasive system and is designed to be low, if not a zero maintenance solution depending on filter congestion.
Many options are available for different size properties, including heated units and units with upgraded filter systems. If you are experiencing condensation and mould issues or just want improved air quality, then these systems are a very good preventative or even proactive solution.
