This job was a recent kitchen refurbishment J. A. Pell & Son carried out along side our partner trades in Colchester, Essex. It was an extensive project, resulting in the full refurbishment of a derelict 3 bed house, which had been left untouched for over 20 years. Here is the project log for the kitchen, which was of quality rigid base variety and was sourced from our friends over at Howdens. You can also find the bathroom project from this refurbishment on our website.
The project started off with the existing chimney breast being removed, a window opening being made and a window installed. The room was then fully prepped and plastered, re-plumbed with a new boiler install, a full re-wire and even a complete new floor. We then went ahead and started the installation of the kitchen.
The kitchen refurbishment consisted of dove grey fronts and decor pieces, t-bar handles, white quartz stone style worktops, integrated oven, hob and extractor appliances, stainless steel sink, white metro tiles and topped off with a coat of sail white emulsion on the walls. The wall mounted Ideal Logic combination boiler was integrated within the kitchen, along with tidy spaces made available for future installation of two free standing appliances.
All finished up with a very happy client and lovely property for a family to move straight into after the refurbishment. Big thanks yet again to our partner trades and suppliers! J. A.
