J. A. Pell & Son recently carried out this garage refurbishment for a repeat client in Romford, Essex. The roof was well past saving, along with the door and frame. The whole roof was removed including felt, boarding, timbers, fascias and rear guttering. The damaged door was also removed along with it’s rotten frame.
New tanalised/treated timbers were installed for the main roof supports, which then got reboarded with 18mm ply, 75mm arris rails and 40mm drip installed where needed. We also replaced all the timber fascias ready to receive low maintenance PVC fascias. A new tanalised/treated timber door frame was installed, primed and painted with a new high quality Cardale & Merlin ‘up and over’ garage door installed.
One of our much valued partner trades, talented Roofers Dave & his team member Jay came along to felt the roof for us. As you can see, a very tidy and professional job as always!
After the roof was felted we then finished up with new PVC fascias and new rear gutter. One happy client with a great looking low maintenance garage.
